The one and only Salsa sensation and Actor Marc Anthony will be performing in the one and only Center in Brooklyn, Barclay Center.

                                                                                                                   Saturday, Feb. 16 2012,    My all around favorite  performer and El Orgullo de Puerto Rico, the one and only Marc Anthony will be performing in Brooklyn's favorite Center, Barclay Center. 

Born Marco Antonio Muniz on Sept. 16, 1968, known professionally by his stage name Marc Anthony. Mr. Anthony is the top selling Tropical Salsa Artist of all time.

This two-timing Grammy and three-time Latin Winner has sold more than 12 Million Album World Wide. Marc Anthony has won numerous Awards and his achievement have been honored through various recognition.  He was the recipient of 2009 Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institution Chair's Award. On Sept 16, 2009, he received the  (CHCI) Chair's Lifetime Achievement Award.

Anthony played supporting roles in project, including Hackers in 1995 and The Substitute.  He has appeared with Ruben Blade and Puerto Rico Pop Singer Ednita Nazario in Paul Simon's 1998 stage musical, The Capeman, which ran 68 performances.  He had a role in Martin Scorsese's 1999 drama Bringing out the dead. 2001, opposite of Salem Hayek in the film In the time of the Butterfly and Man on Fire, opposite Denzel Washington.

In 2007, Anthony starred in El Cantente.  A biographical drama about the life of Salsa Music Legend Hector Lavoe, who died of Aids Complication in 1993. The film, released in Aug. 2007 received strong reviews.

Born Marco Antonio Muniz in New York City, to Puerto Rican parents. Guillerminna, a house wife and Felipe Muniz, a Musician and hospital lunch room worker. He was named after Mexican singer Marco Antonio.  Marc Anthony grew up in Spanish Harlem and El Barrio.  He is the youngest of 8 children. Anthony and childhood friend, Platinum Producer and Songwriter Frankie Cutlass were raised in the same housing project, Metro Plaza Houses.
