Todays "Take it back Tuesday" goes to Jean-Michel Basquiat A Brooklyn born Painter and Poet. He's known for his paintings all over the Soho section of New York which he called "SAMO". After metting with famous painter Andy Warhol, Basquiat career took off with a lot of his Untitled Paintings being held and sold at art exhibits. Basquiat passed away at the age of 27 due to a drug overdose during a depression he faced after the death of Warhol. His art still lives on and you could also see some of it in the Brooklyn Museum.
