Summer Stage 2014 in Betsy Head Park in Brooklyn

Summer Stage prides itself not only on being the largest free festival in New York City, but one that values the complexity and diversity of cultural movements that have contribute to the neighborhoods that we serve, New York City itself and culture globally.

From June through August, in Central Park and in 13 neighborhoods parks across the five boroughs, they will present over 105 music, dance, theater, comedy, word, opera, film, family and circus programs, making Summer Stage the largest free performing art festival in New York City.

They remain committed to enriching the lives of New Yorkers through FREE performing Arts in all five borough, with particular attention to honoring the cultural legacy of art forms developed and informed by New York City.

SummerStage was at Betsy Head Park in Brownsville Brooklyn.  Performing at Betsy Head Park  June 12 was front man of the Multi-platinum group Dru-Hill  Sisqo, a long time front man and a Grammy nominated solo artist who talent is so extraordinary.

On the turn table none the less Hot 97 The Heavy Hitter DJ Bent Roc. The music was bumping and the ground was jumping. We even had a few twerkings going on.

Had a great time with my cousin, but I said next time I will be asking for Media Pass. It's hard to take pictures when you have hundreds of people trying to catch a glimpse of Sisqo and they're literally on my back.
