This is the opening event in the Celebrate Brooklyn! The event is part of the city's longest running weekly Friday night dance party.
The event will be a blast, with DJ's playing a mix of danceable hits from the 60's through today.
Recently the winner of the Paper Magazine's "Best Party of 2012" (a national award).
Featuring a live set from Big Sam's Funky Nation. Big Sam's Funky Nation brings funk, as well as rock, Jazz, and Hip Hop.
Deemed "Noladelic Power funk", the band's fusion of sounds accented by front man Big Sam Williams' electric trombone riffs will get your feet moving and your blood pumping.
Big Sam has also been known to bust a few signature moves so get ready to dance a long to the contagious grooves.
