The Amnesty Concert at Barclay's Center.





Amnesty International will be holding it's first Human Rights Concert since 1998 at the Barclay Center on February 5, 2014.

The Amnesty International work to protect people wherever Justice, Freedom, Truth and Dignity are denied.  Currently the largest in the world Grassroots Human Rights Organization.

A range of artists, including Imagine Dragons, Flaming lips, Lauren Hill and more yet to be announced. Special guests will also make appearances. 

The stars will be performing at the Human Rights Organization's Event called "Bring Human Right Home".

The first Human Rights Concern was 1986, U2, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed and many more played six shows.

Past concerts have feature some of the greatest artists of our generation and have been catalysts for real, measurable changes, Imagine Dragon front man Dan Reynolds said in a statement about this upcoming Brooklyn Concert.
A press release said that the concert would "use technology to connect the music and message in real time from the stage of the Barclay's Center to activists across the globe.

Amnesty's Concert between 1986 and 1998 attracted 1.25 Million attendees and according to the press release, assisted in tripling the organization's membership.
