Brooklyn Event and Entertainment : Fashion Week Brooklyn 2014 "Be Inspired" Spring and Summer Collections.

Fashion Week Brooklyn 2014 Spring and Summer "Be Inspired" designers came from various part of the world, including the United States. Canada, Germany, Spain, Africa, Philippines, Norway, Poland and Scotland.

Only Brooklyn can hold such a diverse presence in a Fashion Show. Great Live Music entertained us as we awaited for this anticipated show to began at Industry City. http://www.bushterminal.com/

Fashion Week Brooklyn environment was just like Brooklyn style, lay back, energy was great and the fashionistas was showing their fashion taste.

Organizers announced the re-branding of Brooklyn Fashion Week and added new sponsor, they also changed the name to Fashion Week Brooklyn.

This great fashion event show opening began with their collections of "Eco friendly/Innovative Designers/ Ready to wear. Hosted by our very own State Senator Eric Adams.

Designers, Erin Birmingham, Maxwell William H.S., which is in Brooklyn, High School of Fashion Industry, Andrea Fitzgerald, Draft Minerva, Howareyou and yes Francesca Defranchis showing her doggy couture line. This as too cute.

Sunday's Closing Evening consisted of "Men and Women Designers". Designers On Nami, Olena Dats, B. Gold, Kathrine Hynes and Bishme R Cromite.

Fashion Week Brooklyn first event took place May 2006 at the Tobacco Warehouse and it was a way to show case Brooklyn's emerging designers. They also raised money to fund self-esteem programs for Brooklyn Youth at risk.

What's up New York? Keeping up with Brooklyn was invited to all 4 shows. I made it to the first and last, but I heard through the grape vine that Saturday's Show was to be at and I missed it.

Designer B. Gold, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He designs, develops and market high quality jewelry & made to order clothing which are hand cut. His collection have been seen on the likes of Jay z, Alicia Keys, Sean Stone, Sam Webb and many more.https://www.facebook.com/BGOLDNYC

As you know, my camera decided to play games with me and couldn't take pictures of the whole show, but I made it up with Sunday's closing show.

As a blogger, this was my first Fashion Week event, and I tell you this much, Brooklyn has more emerging designers, and we have our own definition on what is beautiful. We are in a class of our own, and Fashion Week Brooklyn proved it.

Brooklyn is made up from people, style, distinct culture and it is the most popular of New York City's five boroughs and today if it were an Independent City, Brooklyn would rank as the fourth most popular City in the U.S., behind only the other boroughs of N.Y.C combined, Los Angeles and Chicago.
