You know, Brownsville is not given the proper attention to when it comes to positive images and doings. A lot of violence growing in these neck of the woods.
Brownsville is located in eastern Brooklyn, New York City. It has been known through out the years for it's criminal gangs in the 30's and 40's achieved notoriety as the birthplace of Murder Inc.
As early as the 1910's, the area had acquired a reputation as a vicious slum and breeding ground for crime.. Ain't that some sugar.
Brownsville is notable for having some of the highest rates of violent crime in New York City. Gang and Drug Violence.
This is home to me. From the time I was born to present. We have positive things going on and positive people.

Had their Pitkin Ave Parade and Easter Egg Hunt.

- Huge Easter Egg hunt.
Also there Carmen Jackson the widow of Gregory (Greg) Jackson who won a collegiate national championship at Guilford College and later played in the National Basketball Association. Mr. Jackson consider to many as the official Mayor of Brownsville.
The children laughed and play, while others danced, I know I did and even did the Harlem shake. The weather was fantastic . This is one of many positive things going on in Brownsville, Brooklyn and more.
