2013 WILLiFEST Opening Night

WILLiFEST opening night was a success. Had an awesome time Brooklyn. Met some of the most incredible people I will ever meet.

I want to thank WILLiFEST for giving me this opportunity in sharing this great festival with me. From opening night to the Big Sat 921.

Had the priviledge of hanging with the cast of "PLAY". Written by Canadian actress Kelly McCormack. Produced by Kelly McCormack and film stars of Orphan Black's (Canadian/American Science Fiction Television Series) Kristian Brunn and is Directed by Award Winning Director Alec Toller.

This was a comedy about opening night of a new play that takes an unexpected turn, which causes all of the actors to improvise the plot while live on stage. Which I enjoyed.

Among the other cast are Four-time Canadian Comedy Award Nominee Colin Munch,  Roger Bainbridge from the Award Winning Tony-Ho Comedy Troupe, Theatre Brouhaha Headliner Danny Pagett and Dora nominated and NOW Magazine "Actor to watch" Tim Walker.

The film was written in 2 weeks and film in 2 weeks and only for the cost of  $1,000. It has been nominated for the best feature film and best original screenplay at the London International Film Festival and I was with this great cast of actors, directors and producers.

WILLiFEST feature artist Young Smilez

Hey Brooklyn, just want to give you a little inside first of this up-coming Hip Hop artist and then I will give you my personal take on this young feature artist.

First of all, he was selected by executives of WILLiFEST, you know we had this conversation what is a WILLiFEST. This is 20 of the COOLEST film festival in the world Brooklyn, by Movie Maker Magazine.

Young Smilez will be featured during the 2013 greatest festival in the world. WILLiFEST came up with a dream team that consistence of Young Smilez, The B-Something Krew, BWellz and Sparda.

The WILLiFEST dream team release it's single Submissive13 and has been feature on Rap Genius.  Submissive 13 is shooting their video on 8/5/2013 and will feature Ruff Ryders Latino Artist Cano Fino.https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cano-Fino-y-Ed-Tunz-La-Voz-de-la-Isla/203887209649661

Young Smilez 23, coming straight from Brooklyn's well know Marcy Projects was also featured in Coast2Coast Magazine and other Industry projects. He is currently promoting his new single "Champagne" from his forth coming mix tape "Heatwave". This single has already been picked up by celebrity DJ Young Cee.

I got to have a what, you call sit down, but a stand up with Young Smilez, and laughed all the way comparing our Puerto Rican up bringing and family and  as humble as can any young person be. Believe me Brooklyn when I say I'm for our young men and women.

I always have one particular song on my mind when it comes to our productive young man and woman, like Whitney Houston would sing, I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way. Teach them all the beauty that posses inside.

We have to support our young Brooklyn children, young men and woman who is out here doing the right things to succeed and I want to support Young Smilez and his great accomplishments. http://www.mtv.com/artists/young-smilez/

Every person wants that one opportunity and he's getting his. Brooklyn and Marcy Projects, up for Young Smilez. http://iamsmilez.com/

Keep a look out for his Submissive 13 Video coming soon and show him the love he deserves.

Don't forget he will be feature in the Williamsburg International Film Festival this Sept/2013.
