The 3rd Annual Bayou n' Brooklyn Music Festival



Bayou n' Brooklyn presents an opportunity for those new to this tradition to see what it's all about.  Come hungry and prepare to taste Bayou  Teche's biscuity malt center, herbal hop, mellow LA-31 Biere Pale, a district new style of beer. 

They'll be workshops in beginning Cajun Guitar. So y'all bring your fiddle, guitar, dance shoes or just hangout in Red Hook's own gem hip music spot, Jalopy Theatre and listen on 30 hours of South Western Louisiana Music. 

Among Sultry Cajun treats offered at this 3 day blowout music performances galore, including shows from Dr. Zsa's powdered Zydeco Band and Jesse Lege & Bayou Brew, Cajun-Creole Community Janas,dancing and some good ole Gumbo.

Live Jazz at The Firehouse Space located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn


  The Firehouse Space is having Jazz on May 2, 2013 @ 8 pm. 


A rare appearance by drummer Devin Drobka, presenting a new music in a format ( drums, Sax, Guitar) rite with raucous musical conversation, dispensing with pretense, bursting into a new sonic territory that is sure to astound listeners of all types.

The Firehouse Space is a unique event and performance space located in Williamsburg, close to the Graham Ave L stop.  Has 4000 square feet and 14" ceilings and includes a large kitchen with double professional thermador oven, deck with a hot tub and fire place. It also includes a 1000 performance space for about 70 people.

Marc Anthony is among the roster of stars who will perform in one of several balls during President Obama's Inauguration.

Marc Anthony has been a supporter of Obama during his presidential campaigns. This summer Marc Anthony headlined a fund raiser in Miami.  Marc Anthony stated that "The President has our back, so it's time to let him know that we've got his.

With Hurricane Sandy hitting New York City and leaving behind  huge devastation and the shooting of 20 bright first grader and six staff, teacher and Principal in Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Conn. Always remember your gift to you every Christmas is your family. Be thankful  for your childdren. That you are able to have them by your side to celebrate this festive holiday, one can rebuilt from Hurricane sandy, but you can't rebuilt on the death of a child or love one.

The one and only Salsa sensation and Actor Marc Anthony will be performing in the one and only Center in Brooklyn, Barclay Center.

                                                                                                                   Saturday, Feb. 16 2012,    My all around favorite  performer and El Orgullo de Puerto Rico, the one and only Marc Anthony will be performing in Brooklyn's favorite Center, Barclay Center. 

Born Marco Antonio Muniz on Sept. 16, 1968, known professionally by his stage name Marc Anthony. Mr. Anthony is the top selling Tropical Salsa Artist of all time.

This two-timing Grammy and three-time Latin Winner has sold more than 12 Million Album World Wide. Marc Anthony has won numerous Awards and his achievement have been honored through various recognition.  He was the recipient of 2009 Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institution Chair's Award. On Sept 16, 2009, he received the  (CHCI) Chair's Lifetime Achievement Award.

Anthony played supporting roles in project, including Hackers in 1995 and The Substitute.  He has appeared with Ruben Blade and Puerto Rico Pop Singer Ednita Nazario in Paul Simon's 1998 stage musical, The Capeman, which ran 68 performances.  He had a role in Martin Scorsese's 1999 drama Bringing out the dead. 2001, opposite of Salem Hayek in the film In the time of the Butterfly and Man on Fire, opposite Denzel Washington.

In 2007, Anthony starred in El Cantente.  A biographical drama about the life of Salsa Music Legend Hector Lavoe, who died of Aids Complication in 1993. The film, released in Aug. 2007 received strong reviews.

Born Marco Antonio Muniz in New York City, to Puerto Rican parents. Guillerminna, a house wife and Felipe Muniz, a Musician and hospital lunch room worker. He was named after Mexican singer Marco Antonio.  Marc Anthony grew up in Spanish Harlem and El Barrio.  He is the youngest of 8 children. Anthony and childhood friend, Platinum Producer and Songwriter Frankie Cutlass were raised in the same housing project, Metro Plaza Houses.

Disney on Ice-Rockin' Ever After at Barclay Center in Brooklyn

This Holiday Season Bloomingdale is displaying scenes from Cirque de Soleil's new cinematic offering, Cirque de Soleil's: World away.

Barney's most created window display in New York City.  Each year Barney picks a theme for the window that are sure to make passersby laugh.

Macy's display draws thousand of visitors every year, 34th Street theme as well as their additional series of window display. The venerable department store window will display will pay homage to Yuletide tradition through the History "The Magic of Christmas.

Saks, located across the Street from Rockefeller Center .  Saks three dimensional musical, animated exhibits draws Hugh crowds .  This year's LED Holiday light projection features snow flurries and a Yeti, who according to a tie in tale by Daily Monster Creator Stefan J Bucher. The two-minute show repeats every 7 to 8 minutes and ties with the Snowflakes spectacular displaying the 12 windows.

Rockefeller Center ice Skating Rink

The Rockefeller Center skating rink was built in 1936.  Today, more then a quarter of a million people enjoys the Rockefeller Center Skating Rink.                                                              Rockefeller Center is home to many New York landmarks, Historic GE Building, Radio City Music Hall and the famous of them all, The Christmas Tree Lighting.                                                Rockefeller Center would have not exists if it wasn't for the 1929 stock market crash.

David Rockefeller leased the property in a area called "Speak easy belt". with plans to build a new Metropolitan Opera.

When the stock market crashed the Met couldn't afford to move, so Rockefeller decided to build an office complex instead.  Construction of the Art Deco Style building began. 

As of today Rockefeller has become a major New York Landmark, hosting some of the City's most famous sights and destination.

This is a highly crowded place during the Holiday Season.  Best time to go is EARLY morning or Week days before 4 pm.
